Bill speaks to Chamber Near Hometown in Kennett, MO

Bill recently had the opportunity to speak to the Kennett, Missouri Chamber of Commerce and enjoyed recounting some of his life experiences as well as what the city meant to him as a boy growing up nearby. The local Daily Dunklin Democrat newspaper had this to say about the event:

“A Rector native who has crossed paths with a mind boggling number of celebrities and politicians told his story to those gathered for the annual Kennett Chamber of Commerce Membership Banquet Monday night at the American Legion Building. ‘Kennett is like home too,’ said Bill Carter. ‘I was born and raised in Rector, but when I was kid, you came to Kennett for everything.’ “
